Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Ohio. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Occasional cross-training and teamwork with nurses and physicians are expected. The ideal candidate will have ARRT radiology certification, CT credential or be within one year of obtaining it, and an Ohio radiographer license, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Schedule and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Communicate effectively with care teams and patients, and work under stress with minimal supervision.
