Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center's Radiology Department seeks a CT Technologist who will diagnose and image using CT scanners, assist with biopsies and procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling. The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and collaboration with nurses, physicians and technologists in a busy hospital setting.

Must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, hold ARRT in radiology with CT credential or obtain within a year, and possess an Ohio radiographer license

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program is required.
• ARRT credential in radiology and CT preferred or obtained within 12 months.
• Ohio radiographer license and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images across neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominothoracic and cardiac studies.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate radiology patients, inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and care teams to deliver safe care.
