Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to perform CT scans, verify orders, and ensure patient safety. The role requires ARRT Radiology or NMTCB certification and CT registry within one year, plus BLS.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, preparing patients, administering contrast as needed, and collaborating with radiology staff to maintain quality imaging and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site position with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders; refers discrepancies to Radiologist before performing exam.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers and explains procedures.
• Reviews EMR for clinical history and documents on requisitions.
• Performs CT scanning and assists Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety and proper sterile technique; handles contrast administration as directed.
