Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine is required.
• ARRT CT registry within one year of hire is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and consult radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identify patient, explain procedures, and prepare patient for CT exam.
• Review EMR for clinical history and document requisitions.
• Perform CT scans and assist radiologist/PA as needed.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and report any equipment issues.
• Rotate shifts, including call back, holidays, and weekends.
