Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine with CT registry within one year.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Examine and verify orders with radiologist review before exams.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Prepare patients and document on appropriate forms.
• Perform CT scanning and assist radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique.
• Operate radiology computer system, enter orders and document contrast.
• Provide basic patient care and respond to emergencies including code blue.
