Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Part-time CT Technologist to support the CT department at Navicent Health Medical Center. The role involves patient preparation, confirming orders with radiologists, and performing CT scans with attention to safety and accuracy.

The position requires ARRT Radiology certification (or NMTCB) with CT registry within one year of hire, and BLS. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts is needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB and advanced CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and confirm with Radiologist before exams.
• Provide patient prep and explain procedures; document on worksheets.
• Review medical history and correlate results with exams.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
• Operate radiology systems and document contrast administration.
