Job summary

Atrium Health Union West is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and related equipment following departmental protocols. You will verify orders, identify patients, and prepare them for procedures while ensuring safety and quality of care.

The role requires ARRT in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with CT registry within one year of hire, and BLS. Strong teamwork across emergency and inpatient settings is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry in CT within one year of hire.
• BLS required.
• No prior work experience required (N/A).

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders; refer discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare patients accordingly.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMR for pertinent data.
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely.
