Job summary

Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures per departmental protocols, operate CT scanners and associated equipment with proficiency.

Responsibilities include verifying orders with Radiologists, preparing patients, reviewing EMR, and assisting during invasive procedures while maintaining safety standards. Shifts rotate, and CT experience with ARRT/NMTCB and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB radiology certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• CT registry within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before exam.
• Identify patients and explain procedures.
• Review EMR for pertinent history and correlate results.
• Perform CT scanning and assist radiologist during invasive procedures.
• Operate radiology computer system to enter orders and document contrast.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment issues.
• Rotate shifts, including call back, holidays, and weekends.
• Keep work area clean and stocked.
