Atrium Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT exams per protocol, operate scanners and related equipment, and support patient care. This role includes preparing patients, obtaining medical histories, and maintaining safety standards while collaborating with Radiology staff.

Responsibilities include verifying orders with Radiologists, administering IV contrast, and ensuring high-quality imaging outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced CT registry within one year of hire, BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Examine requests and verify orders; refer discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures clearly.
• Obtain complete medical history from EMR and requisitions; correlate data with exam.
• Perform CT scanning from start to finish and document results.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast; record contrast type and amount as required.
• Maintain image quality and consult Radiologist for additional reconstructions as needed.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Rotate shifts, handle on-call, holidays, and weekends as required.
