Job summary

Atrium Health, based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a CT Technologist I to join the radiology team. You will perform CT imaging, prepare patients, and work closely with Radiologists to ensure accurate study results.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, obtaining medical history, and operating CT equipment with strict adherence to radiation safety protocols. Eligibility requires ARRT or NMTCB CT registry within one year and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology certification or NMTCB nuclear medicine with ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Commitment to radiology safety and patient care across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders; refers to Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identifies patients using two identifiers and explains procedures.
• Reviews EMR for medical history and correlates results with exams.
• Performs CT scanning and assists Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Operates radiology computer system and documents contrast administration.
• Maintains sterile technique and radiation safety standards; participates in code blue procedures when needed.
• Rotates shifts, including call back, holidays, and weekends; adheres to attendance policy.
