Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. The role emphasizes maintaining ARRT CT competency, operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging, and educating patients and staff.

The Level II candidate requires 3+ years of CT experience, with a comprehensive benefits package and a 36-hour workweek across three 12-hour shifts. Intermountain Health is an equal opportunity employer.

Competenze

• ARRT (R) CT required at hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days required.
• State licensure in practice state upon hire required.
• IV competency within 90 days required.

Mansioni

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepare patient identification, verify orders, and prep for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol and ensure accuracy in images.
• Review images for quality and ensure necessary anatomical structures are captured.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address patient/family concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Keep up with advances in CT technology through continuing education and development.
• Assist and instruct students and other radiology staff in protocols and positioning.
