Job summary

Ascension is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography to join the Elk Grove Village team. You will perform CT scans, prepare and position patients, select parameters, and administer contrast within guidelines, collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate, high-quality studies.

You will monitor patients during procedures and submit clear images to PACS, upholding radiation safety and imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist credentialed from IEMA required prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) CT specialty credentials required in addition to CNMT if applicable; ARRT radiography with CT specialty also accepted.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist credentialed from IEMA obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
