Job summary

Ascension’s CT department in Elk Grove Village seeks a staff member to explain procedures, transport patients, and assist with imaging under radiology supervision. Responsibilities include patient prep, positioning, and ensuring quality radiologic images, with strict adherence to radiation safety guidelines.

The role also covers receptionist duties, chart management, inventory support, and orderly discharge processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1 year of cumulative relevant experience acceptable.
• BLS Provider certification preferred (AHA/Red Cross).

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
