MetroHealth is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires ARRT registration, CT credential within one year, and an Ohio radiographer license. BLS certification is required or obtained during probation. Cross-training opportunities are available as part of a dynamic imaging team.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program is required.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within the probationary period.

Responsabilidades

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate patients for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Exercise on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
