Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the Parma Heights team. You will perform CT imaging for trauma, stroke, cancer and other patients, with cross-training across related procedures, and work under supervision as needed.

Shifts are 4x10hr days/evenings with biweekly 80 hours and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for external applicants. Join a department committed to high-quality patient care in Northeast Ohio.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Radiology Technologist registration.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) or obtained within probation.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work independently and as part of the CT team.
