Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team at the MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio. The schedule features 4x10-hour shifts, days/evenings with a 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM start, and biweekly 80 hours; weekends include every 4th Sunday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in diverse settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Collaborate with CT team, nurses, physicians and other care staff to provide excellent patient care.
