Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Parma, OH. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT Guided Procedures such as biopsies and drain placements, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Required are ARRT certification, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS, with cross-training and a supportive team environment. This is a days/evenings shift with 4x10-hour shifts and a sign-on bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• Exhibits on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
