Job summary

Join our Radiology Department at MetroHealth in Cleveland to perform CT imaging and guided procedures for diverse patients including trauma, stroke, and oncology cases.

Requirements include ARRT CT credential or progress toward it, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS. Cross training is available; sign-on bonus offered for external applicants. Work schedules feature 4x10‑hour shifts with day/evening coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.
• One year related experience and ARRT CT credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on‑the‑spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
