Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department. You will perform CT imaging with attention to image quality, dose optimization, and patient safety. Cross-training opportunities and a supportive team environment are offered in a busy Level One Trauma Center.

The role requires ARRT certification and an Ohio Radiography license, with CT credential obtainable within one year. Sign-on bonus available for external applicants up to $15,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures with high quality and accuracy.
• Prepare patients for CT procedures and ensure safety standards.
• Operate CT equipment and maintain image quality and dose optimization.
• Position patients and select appropriate protocols for various exams.
• Assist radiologists with CT-guided procedures when needed.
• Schedule and coordinate CT studies for inpatients and outpatients.
