Job summary

MetroHealth in Cleveland, OH, seeks a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. This full-time role focuses on producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating imaging for inpatients and outpatients. Cross-training and a sign-on bonus apply for external applicants.

Required are an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT CT credential (or within one year), and Ohio Radiographer license, with BLS. Expect a dynamic trauma/cancer care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Radiology Technologist certification with CT credential or to obtain within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking; work under supervision as part of the CT team.
