Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department in Northeast Ohio. The role focuses on CT imaging, patient care, scheduling, and collaboration with nurses, physicians, and therapists. WILL CROSS TRAIN.

Biweekly hours total 80 across 4x10hr shifts (1:00 PM–11:30 PM). Weekends every 4th Sunday; call required. Qualified candidates will have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration with CT credential within a year, and an Ohio Radiographer License with

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist or eligible; CT credential within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer License and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Manage patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
