Job summary

MetroHealth's Radiology Department in Cleveland is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join our team. You will perform high-quality CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, Ohio Radiographer License, BLS, and strong teamwork under stressful conditions. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce CT images with high quality in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
