Required are a high school diploma, BLS, ARRT/CT certification or CNMT, and advanced CT certification within two years. Flexibility in schedule and strong patient communication are essential in this fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.
• ARRT RT and radiography or CT certification, or NMTCB CNMT, with state license preferred.
• Advanced CT certification required within two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Operates CT equipment per protocol, including IV placement.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Performs quality control procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Assists in departmental operations and equipment maintenance.
• Adapts communication to diverse patient populations and preserves privacy.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable laws, standards, and compliance.
• Supports interventional procedures with ultrasound guidance when needed.
