Ochsner Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine computed tomography procedures and to mentor junior staff. The role requires ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility, and a current radiologic technology license with strong knowledge of CT protocols.

Responsibilities include patient communication, equipment operation, image review for quality, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Flexibility for shift schedules and interdepartmental collaboration is expected.

Formación

• Proficiency with radiology information systems and imaging equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to varying shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.
• Operates imaging equipment to complete CT procedures per protocol.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Maintains quality control procedures and regulatory standards.
• Assists in departmental operations (scheduling, inventory, maintenance).
• Communicates clearly with patients to ensure understanding and consent.
