Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT CT registry eligible or CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• Current unrestricted state license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Operates radiology equipment independently to complete CT imaging per protocol (IV placement included).
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and quality control procedures.
• Assists with department operations (inventory, schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapts communication and approach to patient needs, privacy, and preferences.
