Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification or registry-eligible with timely certification.
• Current state license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician orders and ensures accuracy of procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment to complete CT procedures per protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Performs timely quality control procedures per regulatory standards.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance).
• Maintains privacy and adapts communication to patient needs.
• Performs related duties as required.
