Qualifications

• MS/BS degree with 2–5 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Life science concentration preferred in chemical engineering or chemistry.
• Experience in API process development and scale-up, esp. crystallization and particle engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in chemistry/chemical engineering; familiarity with lab instrumentation.
• Experience with DOE and QbD concepts; familiarity with modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Support drug substance process development on bench scale.
• Develop early fit-for-purpose API crystallizations for viable particle forming processes.
• Develop crystallization, isolation, drying, size reduction and other particle engineering operations.
