Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Project Engineer in Tulsa, OK to drive mechanical design and production-ready solutions for cryogenic equipment. You’ll develop 3D models, coordinate with manufacturing, and support sales with quotes and drawings.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, SolidWorks proficiency, and 3–5 years in engineering/manufacturing. You’ll work in a team, using ERP tools and CAD to ensure manufacturability and quality in every project.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong SolidWorks proficiency and 3D CAD experience.
• 3–5 years in engineering and manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of design for manufacturing and quality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales with quotes, drawings, and sketches.
• Create and maintain accurate 3D models and assemblies reflecting requirements.
• Serve as mechanical focal point for layouts and design within a team.
• Coordinate with offsite resources and manage workload.
• Manage ERP-related BOMs, routers, documentation, and tasks.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and other departments.
• Participate in design review meetings as needed.
• Review/Approve/process ECRs, NCRs, and TDDs.
• Provide support for testing fixtures and QA documentation.
• Daily shop-floor interaction on projects in production.
• Uphold QA documentation and interpersonal communication.
