Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Liquid Systems Responsible Engineer with cryogenic fluids experience for the Lunar Permanence Zero-g Propellant Management team. You’ll balance hardware ownership with manufacturing engineering, shaping how cryogenic fluid hardware is fabricated, assembled, and qualified for production.

The role involves design reviews, supplier coordination, shop-floor troubleshooting, and creating process documentation, with relocation and up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems or manufacturing/process engineering.
• Experience with aerospace flight hardware development or certification.

Responsibilities

• Support cryogenic propellant management hardware ownership from requirements to verification.
• Contribute to DFM/DFA input on hardware designs and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and track hardware dependencies for delivery.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and test plans.
• Assist in root-cause analysis for non-conformances and MRB dispositions.
