Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to support Creo models and drawings for cryogenic propellant management hardware. You will contribute to design, verification, and integration through all life-cycle stages, collaborating with internal and external suppliers.

Your background includes aerospace/cryogenic systems, Creo drafting, GD&T, and Windchill processes, with 2+ years in cryogenic fluids and relevant experience in flight hardware development.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical subject area.
• 2+ years of experience in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems/components.
• Experience supporting the development, integration, or certification of aerospace systems for flight.
• Experience with fluid/gas components (valves, manifolds, regulators, pressure vessels, instrumentation).
• Experience with Cryogenic Fluid Management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex cryogenic subsystems and components as part of the Zero-g Propellant Management Product Team (IPT).
• Support hardware ownership from definition through delivery, contributing to design, verification, and integration activities for assigned components.
• Track internal and external procurements and hardware dependencies to support subsystem delivery schedules.
• Contribute to the diverse range of propulsion design engineer tasks including trade studies, component design/integration, and test support.
• Develop, modify, and release engineering models, assemblies, and drawings in Creo for cryogenic propellant management hardware.
