Job summary

Blue Origin in the Seattle area is seeking a Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to support the model-and-drawings for cryogenic propellant management hardware. You will develop Creo models and drawings from concept to release, work with suppliers, and ensure conformance to CAD standards and PMD/ PMI practices.

Responsibilities span definition, interfaces, detailed design, verification, and integration, with up to 25% travel. A B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related.
• 2+ years in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems.
• Creo Parametric proficiency for parts, assemblies, weldments, and drawings.
• Experience with GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and a formal release process.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex cryogenic subsystems and components as part of the Zero-g Propellant Management IPT.
• Support hardware ownership from definition through delivery, contributing to design, verification, and integration activities.
• Track internal and external procurements and hardware dependencies to support subsystem delivery schedules.
• Create Interface Control Models and Drawings for cryogenic fluid system hardware.
