Zusammenfassung

Blue Origin is seeking a Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to support design, drafting, and model-based definition for cryogenic propellant management hardware. You will develop Creo models and drawings through the full life cycle, from concept to release, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The role requires collaboration with internal and external teams, attention to quality, and travel up to 25%. Relocation is provided for suitable candidates, and the position supports the Lunar Permanence

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical subject area.
• 2+ years of experience in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems/components.
• Experience supporting the development, integration, or certification of aerospace systems for flight.
• Experience with fluid/gas components (valves, manifolds, regulators, pressure vessels, instrumentation).
• Proficiency with Creo Parametric for parts, assemblies, weldments, and drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and applying it to hardware.

Aufgaben

• Work on complex cryogenic subsystems and components within the Zero-g Propellant Management IPT.
• Support hardware ownership from definition through delivery, contributing to design and verification.
• Track procurements and hardware dependencies to support delivery schedules.
• Participate in trade studies, design/integration, and vendor interface for cryogenic systems.
• Create interface control models/drawings and provide geometry to analysis teams.
