Job summary

Blue Origin, headquartered in the United States, seeks a Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to support CAD design and drafting for cryogenic propellant management hardware. You will develop Creo models and drawings from concept through release, coordinating with internal and external vendors to ensure schedules and specifications are met.

The role spans definition to delivery, including verification, interfaces, and collaboration with propulsion and fluids teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 2+ years in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems.
• Experience supporting aerospace systems for flight.
• Experience with fluid/gas components (valves, manifolds, regulators, vessels).
• Proficiency with Creo for parts, assemblies, drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with CM/ECN/release processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release Creo models and drawings for cryogenic hardware.
• Support hardware ownership from definition through delivery.
• Track procurements and hardware dependencies to meet schedules.
• Participate in design reviews and CAD/model checks.
• Create interface control models/drawings for cryogenic systems.

Education

B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Physics

M.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Physics (preferred)
