Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks a Plant Operator to oversee safe and efficient operation of a crushing plant across locations. You will support and promote safety, coordinate with management, and ensure environmental compliance, reporting daily and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Three to five years of related experience or equivalent is required, with willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed. Safety training and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient operation of a crushing plant at multiple locations.
• Assist in coordination with management to promote safety processes.
• Maintain site environmental compliance and recordkeeping.
• Monitor inventory and perform housekeeping of plant areas.
• Complete required daily reporting and communicate with Quality Control to meet specifications.
