Job summary

Independence Excavating, Inc. is seeking a Crusher Foreman to lead crushing operations from start to finish. You will manage field crews, ensure equipment readiness and maintain safety and production targets on each project.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong organizational skills. MSHA/OSHA knowledge and maintenance expertise are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of related experience.
• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with owners and project managers.
• Extensive knowledge of MSHA and OSHA requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of maintenance/repair of aggregate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret material testing procedures and gradations.
• Review project details with PM and Superintendent before starting.
• Carry out correct operating and maintenance procedures for crushing equipment.
• Coordinate mobilization of crusher equipment with Superintendent.
• Schedule resources daily with Superintendent to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain subcontractor work tickets and verify accuracy with PM.
• Submit time, receipts, JSA’s, safety and equipment checklists timely.
• Coordinate with Equipment Managers on equipment maintenance and usage.
• Perform required paperwork and safety compliance tasks.
• Maintain company image in appearance, conduct and communication.
