Job summary

Independence Excavating, Inc. is seeking a Crusher Foreman to lead crushing projects from start to finish. You will manage crews, ensure equipment maintenance and execution of production requirements while upholding our core values.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, strong organizational and leadership skills, and solid knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations. A safety-focused, team-oriented approach is essential for success at IX.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five years previous related experience is required.
• Strong organizational skills to handle the variety of tasks.
• Able to develop positive working relationships with owners and project managers.
• Extensive knowledge of MSHA and OSHA requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret material testing procedures and gradations.
• Review project details with Project Manager and Superintendent before start.
• Operate and maintain crushing equipment per job requirements.
• Coordinate mobilization of crusher equipment with the Superintendent.
• Schedule resources daily and ensure efficient work cadence.
• Maintain subcontractor-related tickets and PM verifications.
• Complete time, receipts, and safety documentation timely.
• Communicate equipment needs with Superintendents and Equipment Managers.
• Uphold safety practices and company procedures on site.
• Maintain professional company image in conduct and appearance.
