Job summary

Independence Excavating, Inc. is seeking a Crushing Foreman to lead crushing projects from start to finish. You will supervise crew, ensure maintenance and safe operation of equipment, and meet production requirements while upholding our core values.

As the Crushing Foreman, you will coordinate with the Superintendent, prioritize daily schedules, and ensure timely documentation and safety compliance across all tasks. This role supports profitable project delivery with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Five years previous related experience is required.
• Must have strong organizational skills to handle the variety of tasks assigned.
• Must develop positive working relationships with owners and project managers or supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret material testing procedures, gradations etc.
• Coordinate the mobilization of crusher equipment with the Superintendent
• Schedule all resources needed for each job daily and work with Superintendent to establish an efficient work schedule daily.
• Maintain all subcontractor related work tickets and verify for accuracy with PM.
• Timely and complete submission of time, receipts, JSA’s, All Safety and Equipment checklists and forms as required.
• Work with Equipment Managers, Superintendents to communicate the most effective equipment applications, maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Maintain positive company image in appearance, conduct, and communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
