Job summary

Independence Excavating is seeking a Crushing Foreman to lead crusher projects from start to finish. You will manage crews, ensure proper maintenance, and operate equipment to meet production requirements while upholding our core values.

In this role you will collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to plan daily activities, coordinate mobilization, and enforce safety procedures. Strong organizational skills and knowledge of aggregate equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of related construction experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with owners and project managers or supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of aggregate equipment.
• MSHA and OSHA knowledge and procedures.
• Maintenance and repair knowledge of aggregate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret material testing procedures and gradations.
• Review project details with Project Manager and Superintendent before start.
• Review, understand and carry out correct operating and maintenance procedures for crushing equipment.
• Coordinate the mobilization of crusher equipment with the Superintendent.
• Schedule resources daily with the Superintendent for efficient work flow.
• Maintain subcontractor work tickets and verify accuracy with PM.
• Submit time, receipts, JSA's, safety and equipment checklists promptly.
• Communicate equipment needs with Equipment Managers and Supervisors.
• Perform all necessary paperwork.
• Follow safety practices per company manual and cooperate with safety representative.
• Maintain positive company image in appearance and conduct.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
