Job summary

SSA Marine is seeking a Cruise Services Specialist to support embarkation and disembarkation, monitor terminal operations, facilities maintenance, security, and ground transportation, and communicate issues promptly in line with plans and procedures.

The role requires experience in fast-paced environments, strong coordination and communication skills, and the ability to work rotating shifts including nights and holidays; TWIC credentials may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced working environment.
• Ability to effectively coordinate operational activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with team members and external groups.
• Superior organizational skills, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work in a federally regulated environment and to liaise with multiple types of partners and stakeholders: CBP, Port Police, USCG, TSA.
• Competency in MS Office suite and ability to learn other related systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily operations checklists to ensure needs are met.
• Set up and maintain terminal equipment.
• Collect and sort operational data. Perform analysis and prepare briefings and reports based on collected data.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
• Communicate regularly with team members working with stakeholders.
• Work independently and with teams to complete assignments.
• Maintain supplies and report when additional inventory is running low.
• Perform other duties and special projects assigned by management.
