Job summary

SMS International Shore Operations US, Inc. is seeking a part-time shore operations agent in Fort Lauderdale for the 2026/2027 season.

The role involves meeting and assisting cruise guests, handling embarkation duties, and guiding guests through the terminal with attention to safety and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include checking documents, registering guest information, issuing stateroom keys, and supporting luggage and transfer processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in customer service or logistics, preferably travel.
• Ability to communicate in English and assist guests.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests cordially, responding to inquiries and assisting with embarkation and debarkation.
• Monitor traffic in the luggage area and CBP areas.
• Guide guests throughout the terminal to check-in areas, gangways and elevators.
• Answer general questions accurately and pleasantly; provide boarding information.
• Escort guests needing wheelchair assistance during embarkation and debarkation.
• Gather data for embarkation processes and report findings to management.
