Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks an Assistant Hotel Manager to join our shipboard team for the 2026 season. You will support the Hotel Manager in supervising the hotel department, ensuring service standards, guest satisfaction, and adherence to procedures across dining, housekeeping, and guest services.

As a key link to guests and crew, you will help manage the hotel staff, participate in turnover planning, and assist with events and shipboard training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or Hotel & Restaurant Management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Business degree may be considered with management and hospitality experience.
• Military experience may be considered with management and hospitality experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience in a full-service hotel, resort, or cruise ship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Housekeeping Manager and Guest Service Coordinator under Hotel Manager.
• Assist Hotel Manager and Dining Room Manager during service.
• Perform duties of Hotel General Manager when GM is off ship 1–2 times per week.
• Oversee shipboard operations, training, scheduling, and discipline.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in passenger areas and crew spaces.
