Job summary

Hornblower Corp in Boston seeks a Front-of-House Host aboard our vessel to support the Restaurant Manager in daily service, seating guests, and upholding high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

You will help ensure a safe onboard environment, assist with buffets and coordination with servers, and participate in post-cruise cleanup, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers.
• Assist with seating guests and greeting on arrival.
• Support safe work environment aboard the vessel.
• Assist in meetings and pre-cruise briefings as needed.
• Coordinate deck responsibilities and side work with team.
• Aid servers with table service and guest interaction.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B menus and POS systems.
• Lead and participate in post-cruise cleanup and wrap-up.
