Job summary

Hornblower Corp is seeking a courteous Host for The Landing at Long Wharf in Boston. You will greet guests, manage seating, uphold cleanliness, and support front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service.

This role requires strong customer service, ability to lift furniture, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Maintain organization and communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with seating and waitlists.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the dining area.
• Assist bussers and bartenders in opening/closing duties.
• Set up patio furniture and assist with opening duties.
• Answer questions about the menu and local area.
• Serve food and drink orders to tables as needed.
• Clear tables and reset for new guests.
• Maintain uniform and personal grooming standards.
• Close out shifts with cleaning and restocking.
