Job summary

Hornblower Group’s City Cruises division seeks a Host for The Landing at Long Wharf in Boston. You will greet guests, manage seating and waitlists, and assist bartenders and bussers during opening and closing duties.

Responsibilities include serving, item delivery, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service while working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and help answer questions about the menu and surrounding area inside and outside the establishment.
• Seat guests and maintain waitlist.
• Serving food and drink orders to guests at their tables, as needed.
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area.
• Prepare basic food items on menu and run prepared items from back of house to guest tables as needed.
• Help open establishment and assist with setup and closing duties.
