Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial facility systems.

You will follow safety guidelines, document results, and work with a team to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and control systems, use hand and power tools, operate a forklift or lift equipment, and participate in project work as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years’ experience and/or training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift/JLG operator licenses.

Responsibilities

• Abides by safety guidelines (OSHA, lock-out/tag-out).
• Perform PMs and repairs on facility equipment.
• Document work in CMMS and communicate status to customers.
• May lead maintenance projects and supervise subcontractors.
• Occasional overnight travel as needed.
