Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent two-year college or technical trade school; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Two to five years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements.
• Performs basic PM on all mechanical systems.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance (unclog toilets and drains, repair leaks, replace fixtures).
• Performs routine painting, carpentry work to maintain facilities.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance within state law (replace fixtures, switches, outlets).
• Completes service inspections and asset inspections as needed.
• Obtains necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks.
• Keeps facilities clean in appearance; removes trash and does minor landscaping.
• Documents work and time management in CMMS system.
• Attends weekly safety meetings and completes required safety training.
