Job summary

Nutrien is hiring a Crop Consultant to support Parker, SD growers with on-site service and agricultural input sales. You’ll build strong grower relationships, help meet sales and margin goals, and provide practical agronomic guidance.

In this role you’ll address customer needs, ensure timely deliveries and product quality, and identify opportunities for proprietary product growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred, or 5+ years agriculture experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years' experience in the agriculture industry and application of agricultural chemicals.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including on-time delivery and quality of product.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues.
• Perform initial credit review of customers and provide information to Credit Manager to set credit limits.
