Qualifications

• University degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 5+ years agriculture experience and high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience in the agriculture industry, plus knowledge of agricultural chemicals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase inputs sales and meet/exceed sales goals.
• Manage sales to meet profit margin goals and ensure customer satisfaction with on-time delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to boost sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions.
• Perform initial credit review of customers and assist Credit Manager with limits.
