Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a sales-focused agricultural professional to develop new prospects and strengthen grower relationships across its Nutrien Ag Solutions network. You will drive inputs sales, ensure on-time delivery, and advise customers on best agricultural practices.

Ideal candidates have a university degree (or 5+ years ag experience with a high school diploma), plus 2+ years in the ag industry and familiarity with Excel/Word for client management and reporting.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred, in lieu of degree 5+ years agriculture experience and high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in agriculture industry and application of agricultural chemicals.
• Proficiency with general computer programs (Word, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with growers to grow agricultural inputs sales.
• Manage sales to meet profit margin goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop strategies to increase sales of proprietary products.
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and recommend actions.
• Perform initial credit review and assist with credit limits.
