Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a Crop Consultant at our OH Polk Branch to develop new prospects and strengthen relationships with existing growers. You will drive sales of agricultural inputs, ensure on-time delivery, and help growers optimize product performance across our Loveland/Proven brand portfolios.

The role requires 2+ years in agriculture or a university degree, plus familiarity with agriculture chemicals and standard software tools.

Qualifications

University degree preferred, or 5+ years agriculture experience.
2+ years’ experience using standard concepts in agriculture and application of agricultural chemicals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Develop new prospects and interact with growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals.
Assure customer satisfaction of products including, but not limited to on time and accurate delivery and quality of product.
Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products.
Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe actions to resolve issues.
Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk and provide information to Credit Manager for credit limits.
Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers.
